Release of the AKX Stabilizer!
The AKX has finally been released for sale! After months of prototyping, testing, building, testing, and testing some more it is finally done. Many challenges had to be overcome to bring this product to light; the main one being how to bond aluminum weights to polyurethane arms, not an easy task!
AKX stabilizers combine everything needed in a stabilizer to create the perfect shooting system. The majority of the weight is where the shooter needs it for the steadiest hold: at the end farthest from the grip. Weights at the end of the the flexible “X” arms absorb and damp vibration and sound, making for a quiet, smooth shot.
Models are available in 6″, 9″ and 11 1/2″ lengths with either polished aluminum or powder coated black finish. Of course as will all Archery Kinetics products, complete customization of length and colors is available.
I used the 9″ AKX on my recent Texas hog hunt. The stab keeps my bow quiet and vibration free, and was surprisingly agile through the thick Texas underbrush. I’m looking forward to taking to the Colorado mountains this fall for elk and believe that the AKX will perform as well here as it did in Texas.
